Interesting. I think you’re saying censorship resistance is underrated and potentially a threat. Without permissionless access to bitcoin 21M means nothing.

@kylehuber. No I mean it is overrated. What I am saying is that bitcoin might be not so censorship resistant. In other words transactions could be blocked by central powers like mining pool coordinators. Who block transactions from being processed in the blocks that their pools mine, because they follow adreslists that are blacklisted by the american government. So if you are on the blacklist your bitcoin payments will not work.

Has this ever happened? Or just speculating. It’s a valid concern/good discussion to have but it’s like quantum, a potential issue in the future that is currently not an issue at all
