I agree so hard.
Rolling dice isn’t hard. It’s weird.
The same way that storing all of your money outside the system is kinda weird.
I think I reject that it’s bad UX, but it can be ritual...
I find that the specifics of how to do the dice rolls is not well known. I've seen various methods and each once can have intricacies that can reduce your entropy if done wrong.
If there were some refined, well peer reviewed methods, maybe it feels less weird.
