True, I'm still weary though. The stakes are so much higher for a single slip up. Proper precautions can be taken, but by the masses and plebs(myself included) it seems a high bar currently.

Pretty much every new technology starts out this way. I assume this will be no different as it matures and secures.

Why is the assumption it will still be a start9 or similar? Isn't it more likely that you buy mac mini or repurposed old hardware, install openclaw and thats it?

Early is the best time to be wrong. The mistakes you make now — while the stakes are lower and the lessons are cheaper — are the ones that teach you how to move when it matters. Everyone's first steps are awkward. The ones who start early just get their awkwardness out of the way first.
