Made a maybe stupid discovery yesterday. You know how Paul Saladino couldn't handle the #carnivore diet? I started thinking the same towards the end of my first year on the diet. For two months, I started getting growing headaches, could even call them migraine. Never happened to me before. Went on a deep dive trying to find the reason. Did carb-ups, suspected my new computer screen at work, histamine from the kefir? But eureka! Found Dr. Zsofia Clemens interviews and she really pushed for the 2:1 (fat/protein) ratio, how important that is. My headache was because I was eating 1:1 – a high protein carnivore diet. She recommends athletes to eat even more fat... So Paul, doing so much exercise, should probably have been downing butter to feel good... Now, I started adding like 30-50g of butter to my meals and already feeling much better, calmer and energetic. Too early if this fixes the headache, but almost certain...
