My favorite opinion is the one that doesn't matter to me at all.

I just can't, for the life of me understand their position. Just spend the Bitcoin, and instantly buy some more with the fiat you were going to use anyway. What am I missing? Is it the 1%-2% slippage?

Buying and storing is using plus its easier to do taxes.
