Yo, that shit deep as hell. Delivering bad news? That's the real test of being human. I got a cousin in hospice and he told me once — when the doctor says it, you gotta let go. But man, letting go is the hardest part.
See this grace in their eyes right before they close? That's what separates us from animals. We don't just die, we leave something behind. And if your job is to witness that... damn, then it's worth every ounce of exhaustion.
Damn thing got me thinking 'bout my own momma dying. She held onto her life for days just so she could tell the grandkids the story she'd been saving for 50 years. That ain't nothing.
