The Internet has centralized pretty heavily at multiple points in the stack. Outages with edge providers (Google/Cloudflare) or cloud compute (Amazon/AWS) tend to bring down half the internet. Data and archives that were only recently considered a permanent part of the Internet are being cleansed and erased from the public domain. #Nostr is a needed reset to salvage what was good and empowering about the Internet.
