Narrowing to say it is only bad for that state is to ignore the overall picture of what the datacenters are doing everywhere. If Utah can't supply the the electricity is has to come from somewhere. Utah is not exactly rich with water resources either. In a time where water is becoming scarce and what is left is being monetized a data center that drinks more than a small town is a bad idea everywhere.
