Ideas on how this could work? Like paying for new features? I like the idea of support badges, new themes, different algorithms, etc.

by being the window to the nostr economy. there will be an incredible number of opportunities to create new economic activity that would not have existed without nostr; clients will be there to facilitate and benefit from them.
