There are objective differences between Bitcoin and shitcoins, and between an apple and a painting of an apple. But indeed, how they are valued are entirely subjective. For example, a person that has 100 apples will value apples a lot less than a person with no apples at that precise moment, and this valuation is again completely unrelated to the apple's objective properties.

Sounds like we agree lol. just semantics I think..your “objective differences” are my “intrinsic values.” The objective fact humans can eat apples is its intrinsic value in my mind, with all kinds of subjective human values layered on top.
