Metric: “we need to increase Copilot usage”. Solution is easy, make it co-author all the commits.

In every large company various metrics tend to become the actual goal. e.g. at Unity at some point there was a metric to “fix many bugs”. Sounds good! What actually happened often tho, was that bugs were simply closed without an actual fix. Because the graphs presented to the management still look great!
