Saw this set live at the Empty Bottle in Chicago around 2000 when I lived there. Jack let me shoot the show. Have the slides somewhere still. I could tell he'd make it. He was clocked on and in tune and kind and talented. The quad-fecta.

And this was always one of my favorite songs on the album. It's so true. Words strung together from experience and introspective clarity.
