Gold and silver become leagal tender in Texas next year. We have a little bit left in case we need some options, but I'd rather be able to spend my bitcoin locally.
How will that work, practically?
Will shops accept silver and gold based on weight and purity for goods? For example, could someone buy a month's worth of groceries for a certain number of grams of 99.9% pure gold?
