Going through the motions today, feeling a little cranky, but making sure I’m productive. Then it clicked:

A decade ago I was at NBA All Star Weekend in Toronto. The prior year, my ex had a milestone birthday, and so I gifted us All Star Weekend tickets.

Fast forward a decade. Things turned out the way I’d worked toward. A hard duality.
