In the early 2000s, women were prostituting on Craigslist. It was widely known.
I put an ad on Craigslist as a Jon looking for sexual services, mostly as a joke/experiment. It worked. About 5 girls called me. One said she was a police officer and that I could get in trouble for soliciting. One girl I did hook up with because she needed rent money.
