The victor of the sats vs shits debate will come down to whoever makes the best memes

The best memes just take some aspect of the truth and amplify it, and that’s why “sats” have already won this debate. Reality/truth is that sats have been universally adopted already within the bitcoin ecosystem, and so any debate from the other side is only theoretical until they show actual cultural relevance and adoption. Not happening.

It does seem redundant to someone new to bitcoin and mostly nostalgic to call them sats? ‘Bits’ seem more relevant than sats for a global monetary system . Just my two sats lol 🙂💫🧸

Changing the Bitcoin denomination to Sats is a terrible idea, IMO, but there's some merit to the benefits of a "stock split" argument. Why not call 1/100,000 a Bit and then you can have your cake and eat it too. A Bit would be ~$1 and would be a denomination that people could more easily relate to....
