The easiest way to participate in, and protect the #bitcoin network that we all love, is to run a node and use tools that promote financial sovereignty.
1. Buy an Umbrel mini server and install a Bitcoin Core or Bitcoin Knots node which are one click installs
2. Use a Bitcoin Wallet that supports connecting to your own Bitcoin node over Tor like Nunchuk or Sparrow
3. Explore all of the other Bitcoin related Apps available from the Umbrel Store like BTCPay Server, Lightning Node and Bassin Solo Mining
I tried all of this on a laptop and it works fine but requires some monitoring and maintenance. Using an Umbrel makes it a no-brainer.
Doing this helps secure the Bitcoin network, protects your financial privacy and insures the decentralization of the network.
