2 years ago at the Oslo Freedom Forum, I learned that there's people on this planet that desperately need freedom tech, while for some it can even be a matter of life or death: people living under totalitarian regimes, political activists, and refugees of war.

Most of us here don't actually need bitcoin or nostr, for us it's a luxury.

Bitcoin is a shitcoin when it comes to freedom under an oppressive regime. By the way. I doubt you live in a place without a regime. You just haven't fully realized it.

It is a hobby for us not necessity... I'm saying this for years.

unfortunately... but when we raise alarm and signal we are a nuisance to your comfort. don't disturb bitcoiner especially on Nostr.

That could change quickly in the EU… It won’t be a matter of life and death, but the penalties could at least threaten people’s livelihoods. One example was that capital gains tax idea in the netherlands
