— People who talk about land corridors or pipelines to circumvent the Strait of Hormuz are truly low IQ.
1. Pipelines and land-based modes of transportation (trucks, trains etc.) cannot carry the same amounts of oil as VLCCs can. In fact, it doesn’t even come close.
2. A pipeline to circumvent the Strait of Hormuz is just as much within Iran’s targeting range, and probably even easier to hit than ships in the Strait.
