All right, I guess I overdosed from almost no interaction to a full-time week+ on Bitcoin Twitter. I think I reached my max. I cannot tell why exactly, but I am getting a little bit of the ick.
Also, feeling turned off by the Red Team memes circulating. I can't tell exactly why or what it is, but will keep paying attention to see if it's just a phase. The interview I watched with Rob impressed me a few days ago. But there's a growing caricature meme in motion and it makes me "ewww".
There's an interesting phenomenon on Bitcoin Twitter around “look at me,” self-promotion, charismatic personalities, memeification, hero worship, brand/company identification, collective projection and one-person idealizations that I am feeling is totally not the vibe of the collective, decentralized, globally distributed future I think we are being called toward.
Bitcoin is the focal point, not some self-glorified person or company or two.
