Here's the four scenarios.

1. The United States Wins, and does not Nuke Iran.
2. The United States Wins, and does Nuke Iran.
3. Iran Wins, and does not Nuke The United States.
4. Iran Wins, and does Nuke The United States.

1, 2, and 3 are preferable over 4.

4 is the worst case scenario but also the most unlikely.

1 is the most probable, and best scenario.

2, and 3 are unlikely, and preferable over 4 but 2, and 3 are both bad, and unideal.

I want to ensure scenario 1 is the most probable scenario under current conditions.

The Alternative is some sort of peace treaty is reached but I think that right now that's currently unlikely.
