It's not that hard to go 150kmh on skis. Straight downhill, no turns or changes of slope angle. Going this speed through a course ... It's like difference between holding a torch and juggling it.

I’ve tried punching it, hard. Like, reallyyyyy punch it. Fastest I could get to was ~105-110 km/h

So when I think of that and how hard I tried, it’s wild to think. The gradient helps, but they’re turning, and it’s ICYYYYY af. Wearing 🕷️ suits. Winter Olympics really does require those stones!

Well, I guess it depends on the slope. We used iphone's GPS with my buddies in Austria and did over 120 kmh and we are just advanced tourists. I then went on a steeper one alone and was faster than that.
