✅ Bitcoin and crypto have created an entirely new kind of taxpayer
✅ 17,600 people reported a taxable cryptoasset gain:
➡️ £13.8 billion of disposal proceeds
➡️ £1.38 billion of gains
➡️ Average gain: £78,000
✅ 240 people reported cryptoasset gains of £1 million or more in 2024/25: £717 million between them
✅ 65% of reporters had crypto gains under £25,000 and produced 7% of the gains
✅ 54% of people paying Capital Gains Tax on crypto are aged 25 to 44
