Theres a few reasons why NOSTR cant replicate a centralized app numbers when it comes to engagement and reach. The number one reason is most of the traffic is fake and scaled to make it appear much more busy and this creates a network effect thats hard to replicate organically.

Nostr is the only social platform I've stayed actively engaged with. Never cared much for Facebook, nor Twitter, didn't even bother with Tumblr or Instagram. Nostr is where it was easiest for me to find communities that I wanted to be a part of.

It's because nostr is still just federation relays, once we have a p2p version thats as easy to use as nostr, with zero servers, that one will be the winner.
