Another awkward blog post from this brother, talking about al-Isfahani's theory of human vicegerency.
I get that the conclusion "to be human is to be kind" is indispensable but, besides it being an obvious claim, kindness severed from the conditions that sustain it risks dissolving into private sentiment without becoming socially or civilizationally meaningful.
I would think that vicegerency would need something more than just being kind.
