It's not clear to me that Bitcoin is the only decentralized crypto, or even the best in this sense. Also, some alternatives, like Monaro, aim at better privacy. It's technically not even the only currency started by Satoshi, the other being Namecoin.

I think we need Bitcoin and Moneror at a minimum. Never put all the eggs in one basket.

Monero is digital cash. You show your true colors by supporting or not supporting it.
