I dunno who needs to hear this but seeing a professional (American) football game in person is strictly worse than on TV. The games are made for TV. Do you know what happens in the stadium for the nearly 50% of the time that they’re showing commercials? Absolutely fucking nothing. Oh you have a box? Cool, I’d rather be at a bar watching it on TV.

Can confirm. 😅 But! The people you’re with there makes all the difference. Was a great time being an Australian at the Black Hole in Oakland. https://blossom.primal.net/9e5fe84be4d9b798ee8677ed3db396f9d3211ca4376f021079eac25217c0f4c2.jpg

This is the correct take. Going to the Super Bowl costs like 10k. You can get a super sick tv for 10k

Sounds like someone hasn’t been to many live sporting events

The pregame festivities are always better than thre game itself

Pro football games feel like they are trying to extract every bit of money and attention they possibly can. College games can be pretty fun in person, but they're trending towards how bad of an experience pro games are.

Yup. Football is actually perfect for TV, which is why it has become the most popular sport to watch in the US.
