@nprofile1q... Thank you. I'll read into this. It's been a while since I dove deeply into encoding and I know my encoder presets and CRF values to get my desired quality/size for SD/HD sources... but translating that to AV1 is tricky.
Right now all my experiments with AV1 that are both fast encoding and smaller files than x264 so far result in a lower quality.
