@kravietz 🦇 "pecunia non olet" was about charging for a service that was necessary and provided at decent quality – public toilets in Rome. The controversy there was about charging for it, not about the quality of the service.
Here the issue is that the paid promotion bit is spreading disinformation about what VPNs can and can't do. It's not just false advertising, it can put actual people in harm's way.
