The problem is that they have the power at this point whether any one of us as individuals give it to them or not because 60% or more of ALL people EVER throughout history are human NPCs and act as ballast that move in whatever direction the greater men of force and/or intellect and/or institutional rapport tell them to.
Right/left matters because, no matter WHAT the faults of the right, their is space for Ron Pauls and similar anti-establishment types in THAT coalition but NOT in the other.
You have you Ron Paul’s and treasonous Mitt Romney in one hand… but the Clintons and a cackling Indian hyena in the other.
I call out the right all the time, but the right has a diversity enough of beliefs (and, more so than the left, a willingness to ACTUALLY listen to other ideas) as to be the superior choice in lack of “pure” or perfect options.
