These things tempt me so.
But the devil is in the readout electronics.
I guess 7010 and 7020 Zynq's are now very cheap on Aliexpress, so those could be an option, but I'm no VHDL Wizard. So even if get the hardware done, the gateware and linux side would be a whole new chore.
So no high speed sensors in the project pile, yet.
