We’re putting together a ranking of cultures based on their table manners: A) Shoveling food from bowls into the mouth with wooden sticks. B) Using cutlery to bring food from a plate to the mouth. C) Eating with the hands from the floor. Difficult. Almost delicate.

Different cultures, same joy of eating together. I’d try it at least once! During my cycling journey from Afghanistan to Malaysia, across Asia, Europe, and Africa, I always tried to experience different things — especially local food and traditions.
