Just received FBI #FOIA docs on Operation Flyhook from back in 2000, an #FBI operation to lure two Russian #hackers, with agreement from the Russian government, to the U.S. for attempting to extort American companies in a sort of proto #ransomware scheme. Vasily Gorshkov and Alexey Ivanov didn’t suspect a thing.
