Thank you very much; that makes it a lot clearer.

My idea was simply to have an article or blog post that people could refer to, and of course to discuss more of the pros and cons of this approach.

A ROM that’s closer to desktop Linux than to AOSP interesting to me. Of course, the security and privacy aspects would have to be in order as well.

Above all, it would be great if we weren’t dependent on Google’s AOSP updates anymore.
