Are there any botcoiners left who think the trump admin is an actual benefit to Bitcoin? Besides freeing Ross I can’t think of anything useful that hasn’t come with centralizing strings attached...

I would say the only benefit is that the Trump Administration isn't openly hostile to Bitcoiners like a Harris Administration certainly would have been. That is the only real benefit IMO. As long as he is allowed to do some grifting to line his pockets he will leave Bitcoiners alone.

I feel more comfortable with open hostility. The sense I can’t shake is that we are being slow boiled into the criminalization of self custody and privacy. The samurai situation feels like the canary. If you were actually going to try to neuter Bitcoin the dumbest move is to attack it head on.
