The only reason to have datacenters in orbit is to prevent an angry mob from destroying them.

Ofc AI is only useful at replacing employees if you can use it in the place where you need the employees. But SpaceX also has Starlink, so it can deliver AI at any place in the world, in a way that is not vulnerable to angry people cutting fiber cables...
