Basically Bitcoin core current update let’s Bitcoin do rudimentary versions of what Ethereum does, & knots people are saying that enabling, or expanding these capabilities enable spam, and make it cheaper, or economically viable to upload illicit porn onto the blockchain.

But the core people are basically saying that it won’t actually stop the spam, since the attack vector Knots is trying to stop isn’t utilized that often.

But then there’s the core v29 people that sat just undo the current limit increase, and that will fix most of the issues.

It’s really a stupid controversy in all honesty.

I don't think so. It's a fork in the road. What do we stand for. If we go down the wrong road or just insist on using old software, where does that lead. How could this be stupid. It's the software that runs on our nodes. And nodes matter.
