The reason why the "wild west" is pushed so hard in movies, books, education, etc. is to block out what was actually happening in the 1800s: the systematic destruction of the Old World, and the great reset into the debt-slave fiat system we see now.

Search any major American city followed by "great fire" on Google, and you'll find a story of how that city was burned to the ground sometime in the 19th century.

You can also get a good laugh out of the bogus stories they made up to explain away all of these fires that decimated every stone building for miles in every single major American city. Usually it's something like "a cow kicked over a lantern" or something like that.
