Ocean pool is discredited by BIP110, and there is no way out of it for them.
I respect Ocean for two things:
- Direct coinbase payouts, popularizing the idea and first impactful implementation.
- Miner-controlled templates, first impactful pool supporting it (albeit not in standard way but with their own working-but-hacky solution).
On the other hand, I despise them for their support for BIP110.
They are distancing themselves from Luke Dashjr and Mechanic, but you can't change the past, the stigma remains, sorry, guys.
