Isn't hashrate just a long-term proxy for price? (As in, hashrate can't increase if price isn't)

I would like to add one more: real purchasing power. It is possible to go around the apparent exchange rates and estimate purchasing power for national currencies, it should be possible to do it for Bitcoin. I think it would be very helpful to have that metric available.
