@nprofile1q... have you considered those chinese lawnmowing tank things? You can often get them for less than 1000 bucks and they're super easy to hack into because they almost always use off the shelf RC systems. You replace the receiver with Pi or esp32 or whatever you're cool working with and there you have it ;)
