I've heard from a shrink (fair to criticize, but not wrong here, IMO) there's no such thing as man-woman friendships where at least one isn't attracted to the other. I did (& allowed with exes) the opp. sex "friend" thing in my youth, but it's really true & doesn't work if you want to be serious. ...
