My mom is a bit of a news junkie, and the headlines aren’t about positive things. She said she feels like her generation (born early 1940s) had it best. I said I think my life has been wonderful and that I’m hopeful about the future. She asked why hopeful? So I talked about Bitcoin. Again.

That’s the best counter I’ve heard to my frequent claim that we live on the dumbest timeline. Maybe it’s the most ridiculous timeline, but there’s nothing dumb about Bitcoin actually working.

Yeah, but the code base has gotten very compromised and corrupted and has to be cleaned up..😏
