working on something... recommend me your unique and fun nostr apps. i don't want twitter alternatives. i don't want instagram alternatives. i don't want spotify alternatives. an exception here would be a wildly un-mainstream take on this type of content.

your recommendation should heavily dive into the fun and other stuff of nostr.

thanks.

I would have offered Inkan, but it's not fun. It is however unique.

To my knowledge this doesn't exist yet, but it would be a really fun nostr app. If I knew how to make programs I'd do it. Someone should though: Text based nostr mud video game. It seems like having signed events could be really powerful for maintaining game state, player stats/levels, inventori...

I've been building out cypherlog.io, which is very much a work in progress, but I think the foundation is solid. Its just website but I'm thinking about making an app tobpair with it.

It's a shame that it's not live yet but I'm working on a dedicated blogging platform and Substack alternative called uwrite.blog . hopefully I'll have it finished within the next quarter, that is to say within the next century measured in 2026 software delivery speed.

I’m a normie and to be honest it’s hard enough getting apps via NOSTR or zapstore. Just making apps easily available and seamless onto android or iOS would be helpful.. it’s highly possible that I’m fully retarded though and easy for everyone except myself 🫠

Have you even played #WordsWithZaps yet?

A decent “Dice rolling” app would be simple but useful for a lot of folks who play dnd etc. So D6 up to D20 (D21 😋) -Choosing different dice skins would be cool -different locations or backgrounds to roll the dice (forest, coffin, open mouth, camel toe) -on D20 when a one or twenty is rolled ...

What about a Strava or Runstr alternative? I made an app recently for cyclists. https://bikel.ink/

Has the onboarding of plebs to NOSTR been gamified yet? An “achievement based” “level up” onboard learning experience? How do I as a pleb go from being able to: Write my first post, get my first GM, follow a few highly trusted people nostr:npub18ams6ewn5aj2n3wt2qawzglx9mr4nzksxhvrdc4gzrecw7...
