Just crossed a border with $10,001 in btc (undeclared) stored on a piece of paper sewn inside my underwear and nobody knew about it.
I asked if I had to declare BTC entering El Salvador and they said they only cared about cash like dollars and I was welcome to carry 1 billion in Bitcoin over the border.
