I've had that problem sometimes.

If I'm switching then I need to download an insane amount of albums, but in the end it's probably the better option. I can imagine that a full kyc or digital id would be required to keep using Spotify.

I'm gonna have to try Navidrome Mutify makes free Spotify tolerable but I ditched it when I launched it in the car with my kids and had to shut it down due to basically soft porn video ads.
