Note here I’m NOT talking about changing trains. I’m talking about how long ahead of your first train you’re taking you’d arrive at the station. Because arriving too early is a waste of time.

@nprofile1q... this is a big issue for travellers that I feel could be improved with not too much effort. For example, we recently travelled Berlin-Cardiff via Brussels. Because I felt unconfident about the Brussels connection, we ended up with a 4 hour wait in Brussels. I asked if we could get the earlier train but it would have cost hundreds of euros. Likewise, we allowed too much time arriving in St Pancras on outward journey. Door to door journey times could be slashed with more flexibility.
