This is awful. The Long Beach little blue penguin colony has been completely wiped out in an apparent dog attack.
Most people didn't know the penguins lived on our beach. You needed to go back into a spur off the big cave with a torch, then crouch down to see the little eyes reflecting.
The story implies it's a local dog owner. If that's the case, may dead possums infect their water tanks.
