There’s many interesting headphones amps.
I remember being crazy about the components, it’s easy to get lost in this amazing world.
At some point I stopped and decided to focus on the quality of the minimum amount of components for my specific case:
Rega planar 3 + Klipsch the three
The rega p3 is a turntable quite decent that allows you to grow way bigger: NEO PSU, ortofon red, blue, bronze…
The Klipsch is perfect for my room size… I’ve been considering also the sixes or the sevens for an upgrade. Those active boxes comes with a decent phono preamp so no need to put extra components on the chain unless you want a digital exit (like in your case).
I tried adding the phono preamp in between and there wasn’t any noticeable improvement (maybe needed for the 2m bronze).
So the phono preamp is out of the set waiting for an upgrade or if I feel like I need some specific record on digital (it never happened)
