Divide and Conquer (The Artificial Bitcoin Civil War)

The fiat empire allocates resources to stoke civil wars within the ecosystem’s social media networks (such as disputes over Ordinals, purists vs. degenerates, or block size).

It subtly funds extremist factions, uses bot farms to amplify hostility, and poisons the technical debate.

The Goal: To create an environment so suffocating, dramatic, and toxic that genuine cypherpunk developers and operators become mentally exhausted and abandon the trenches.

This void of talent and immune defense is then filled by “corporate developers” who wear ties, speak softly at conferences, and have agendas aligned with the traditional system.

The Antidote: Why “Toxicity” Is a Defense, Not a Flaw

Understanding that the mind is a battlefield explains exactly why Bitcoin’s maximalist culture is deliberately hostile, paranoid, and inflexible. What the media calls “toxicity,” the protocol calls the sociological immune system.

Faced with constant social engineering, sovereign operators have developed the reflex to violently reject compromise. They repel authority figures, scoff at Wall Street’s moral pressures, instinctively distrust any update that promises to “make their lives easier,” and defend their sovereignty with an almost religious stoicism.

As long as there is a critical mass of individuals unwilling to change their code—whether out of fear, convenience, or greed—this Layer Zero attack will continue to fail systematically.
